Methodology and coverage.

A checker is a native module for one search type. A source is a service, site or database queried directly or through an integration. One integration can query many sources, so the two counts are not the same thing.

Current integrations include Holehe (120+ email checkers), user-scanner (98 email modules) and Maigret (3,000+ username sites). Not every search queries every source: coverage, availability and result counts vary with the identifier, third-party limits and configuration.

Email, phone, username, name, domain, link, IP, blockchain address and password. The modules that run are chosen by the type of input.

Modules run asynchronously with concurrency and rate limits. Each one ends in a clear status: found, not found, rate limited, timeout or error.

A found result is a lead tied to a source. It is not automatic proof of identity, ownership, fraud or association. Decisions that matter need human review, a look at the original source and independent confirmation. No result does not prove the information does not exist.

We do not guarantee that third-party sources are accurate, complete, current or available. Coverage numbers describe technical capacity, not how many results a given search will return. Users are responsible for the purpose and the lawful basis when they process data about other people.
